The
Shepherd's Rest is becoming one of the busiest restaurant pubs
in the area. Our Chefs change the menu in March and October
to allow a wide range of choice to our customers. On the spring
and summer menu we offer a large range of culinary delights and
favourites. Also year round is our Specials Board.
In
the summer months we offer a wide range of starters e.g.

with home made red onion marmalade

Fish & Chips coated in a daily home made fresh beer batter

our best seller is the Double Suet Rag Pudding
served with chips, home made mushy peas and fresh gravy made
from real stock
In
the winter months we offer a wide range of casseroles, hotpots,
stews and a wide range of other items off the summer menu as well
as new items.
Set
menus available for large parties. Buffets arranged for Christenings,
funerals etc.
